YASKAWA AC Drive - J1000 Compact V/f Control Drive
For equipment used in industrial systems, high expectations have been placed on general-purpose drives to save energy, and the number of drive-related applications has been increasing.
With the trend to mechanical miniaturization, a strong demand is growing for lower costs and smaller designs of the drive itself. The Yaskawa V1000 series of drives, the first in a new series of drives, became commercially available to fill this need in December 2006. The J1000 series goes one step further with an even compact design and greater savings to be the optimum drives for your industrial needs (available December 21, 2007).
With greater energy savings, Yaskawa's J1000 drives are the ultimate in miniature drives with user-friendly operations and simplified settings. All standard products in the J1000 series are also RoHS-compliant.

Easy Start Even in Heavy Duty Rating <Start>
Full-area and fully-automatic torque boost operations generate a high torque, regardless of whether the speed is accelerated / decelerated or constant. Capable of a 100% torque at 1.5 Hz and a 150% torque at 3 Hz under the HD rating. -
Keeps running in the event of a momentary power loss or a change in load or power supply <Run>
Satisfactory stall prevention and speed search functions act in advance to prevent the drive trip from kicking in and to keep the machine running. -
Full Braking Function <Stop>
Overexcitation braking enables emergency braking without the use of a braking resistor. Furthermore, the internal braking transistor provides more powerful braking capabilities only by adding a braking resistor.

Hassle-free Maintenance
Makes for a safe check of capacitors or the cooling fan during the maintenance period via the monitor. Also, the engineering tool "DriveWizard Plus" lets you unify parameter management on your PC.
Yaskawa's USB Copy Unit is available for applications with multiple drives requiring the same parameter settings. Use the Copy Unit to load parameters from the drive at the factory and edit them later on a PC. Incredibly useful for backing up parameter settings and easier than a lugging around a laptop.* Interface required.
